Bulletin board rules
The noticeboard is for classified ads between private individuals in Córdoba. Posting an ad implies accepting these rules.
What can be posted
Ads from individuals: buying and selling, rentals, business transfers, lost items, one-off services between neighbors.
If you are a company or professional and want to advertise, this is not the place: write to us at hola@infocordoba.es and we'll tell you about advertising options.
How to write an ad
- Don't write in capital letters or use symbols, repeated emojis or decorations to stand out from others. If you want your ad to stand out, there is an option to feature it; filling it with asterisks just makes it harder to read.
- Don't repeat the same ad. One per item you're selling.
- Include a way to contact you. An ad without a phone number or email is of no use to anyone.
- Describe what you're selling as it is. If it has a flaw, say so: it saves you pointless visits.
What is not allowed
- Illegal content, or the sale of items that cannot be sold.
- Insults, threats, sexual or discriminatory content.
- Personal data of third parties without their consent.
- Scams, chain messages, miracle cryptocurrencies, and job offers that ask for money upfront.
- Business ads disguised as private ones.
How long it lasts and how to remove it
Ads expire on their own once their period is over. If you sell before then, remove it yourself from My ads: it only takes a click and stops people from calling you.
Moderation
Ads are published without prior review, so the content is the responsibility of the person who posts it. InfoCórdoba does not intervene in deals or take responsibility for what is advertised, its accuracy, or the outcome of the transaction.
That said, we reserve the right to remove without prior notice any ad that breaches these rules or is illegal or inappropriate. Anyone can report an ad using the button shown on it.
What data we keep when you publish
Along with the ad, we keep the IP address it was published from and the date. It's not to bother anyone: it's what allows action to be taken if someone uses the board to scam or harass, and to respond to a legal request if one arrives.
- What for: preventing fraudulent use and being able to handle legal requests.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe.
- How long: while the ad is published and up to 12 months afterward.
- Who sees it: no one else. The IP is not shown on the website or shared with third parties.

Tips to avoid a bad experience
- It stays in a public place, out in the open.
- Be wary of anyone who wants to overpay, or who asks for money upfront.
- Check what you're buying before paying. No one in a rush for you not to look it over is doing you a favor.
- Be careful with shipping and transfers to strangers outside Córdoba.
