The Casa de los Mora in Lucena opens the exhibition “Arquitecturas del tiempo”

The exhibition by artist Marisol Ramos, with almost thirty works on books, interior spaces and emotions, can be visited until November 2nd. The official opening is this afternoon at twenty hours.

La Casa de los Mora de Lucena has opened its doors to “Arquitecturas del tiempo”, the new exhibition by the visual artist and doctor in Fine Arts Marisol Ramos. The exhibition can be visited until November 2.

Some thirty works on books and emotions

The exhibition brings together almost thirty works in which books, interior spaces and small details serve the artist to speak about feelings and emotions. In several pieces, successions of stacked books appear which, as Ramos herself explains, represent «everything we carry inside, feelings and emotions that sustain one another». Alongside this theme, the exhibition includes a selection of corners and interior rooms that reflect the artist's interest in details and in the spaces that particularly catch her attention. The works are made with different techniques, including acrylic, watercolour and collage, and offer a journey through Ramos's gaze on the passage of time, spaces and emotions.

The opening, this afternoon

The official opening of the exhibition takes place this afternoon at 20:00 at the Casa de los Mora. During the presentation, the Councillor for Culture, Francisco Barbancho, thanked Ramos for having chosen Lucena to show her work and invited residents and visitors to come and see the work, on which the artist has been working for several years. For her part, Marisol Ramos has expressed her gratitude to the Delegación de Cultura for the opportunity to present her work «in an environment that, from the very first moment, made a special impression on me». The exhibition “Arquitecturas del tiempo” can be visited at the Casa de los Mora de Lucena until November 2.
