The Centro Intergeneracional moves its classes to the Edificio Palenque
The Centro Intergeneracional Francisco Santisteban, of the Universidad de Córdoba, has presented its 2026/2027 course with the move of classes to the new conference hall at the Edificio Palenque, in Priego de Córdoba.

The Francisco Santisteban Intergenerational Center, linked to the Universidad de Córdoba, presented its 2026/2027 course this Monday. The main novelty is the transfer of classes to the new conference room of the Edificio Palenque, a space set up as a classroom that has accessibility for people with reduced mobility.
According to the note sent by the Ayuntamiento de Priego de Córdoba, the mayor, Juan Ramón Valdivia, noted that the change of location responds to a demand from the student body and that the new site is part of a building that will bring together various training, outreach and education activities.
The director of the Intergenerational Center, Ana Belén Martínez, recalled that those enrolled in the program are full-fledged students of the Universidad de Córdoba and encouraged participation in complementary activities and in the Erasmus mobility programs. Martínez explained that this course will offer subjects in history, psychology, Italian literature and nature, among other offerings.
The director also indicated that the program currently has more than two thousand two hundred students across the province.
During the event, held in the presence of the councillor for Education, Jezabel Ramírez, recognitions were given to students who have completed three, ten and more than ten years of participation in the Intergenerational Center.
Enrollment for the Francisco Santisteban Intergenerational Center remains open for those who want to join after the course has started, the organization has reported.
