Intercaza brings together 68 exhibitors in Córdoba for its 27th edition
The Centro de Exposiciones, Ferias y Convenciones de Córdoba hosts this weekend the hunting, fishing, active tourism and environment fair, with workshops, exhibitions and a new food area.

The Centro de Exposiciones, Ferias y Convenciones de Córdoba (CEFC) is hosting this weekend the 27th edition of Intercaza, the leisure, hunting, active tourism and environment fair promoted by the Diputación de Córdoba through its Instituto Provincial de Desarrollo Económico (Iprodeco). This year the event brings together 68 exhibitors from Córdoba and its province, as well as from other parts of Spain and abroad.
As a novelty, the fair includes a gastronomic corner with tastings, cooking demonstrations and talks related to gastronomy, in collaboration with the initiative «Sabor a Córdoba».
The program runs throughout the three days of the fair. On Friday 18 an exhibition of rehalas by the Asociación de Rehalas de Córdoba was held, along with tracking dog displays, an archery exhibit, adventure and nature workshops, a fishing boat exhibition and rosemary oil-making activities.
On Saturday 19 the presentation of the «Cuaderno, propietarios de rehalas» took place, along with the talk by Antonio Escribano «La Carne de Caza: salud y sabor», accompanied by a showcooking session and several product tastings, including game meat prepared by Conchi Molina, from the restaurant Café Español de Villanueva del Rey. That same day there were tracking dog displays, poison detection and ferret hunting exhibitions, as well as fishing workshops for children, adventure and nature workshops and a workshop on making birds of prey masks.
On Sunday, September 20, a taxidermy workshop is planned, along with children's fishing workshops by Coletas Carp, adventure and nature workshops by TNT Aventura and an activity about fossils. In the morning the Concurso Morfológico de Galgos will be held, and the rehalas and the fishing boat exhibition can be visited again.
The fair has five activity areas and a 240-square-meter children's area, with monitors, safety measures and different shifts for the youngest visitors. Throughout all the days of Intercaza a free shuttle bus runs between the Palacio de la Merced and the CEFC, which also has more than 600 free parking spaces.
According to the statement issued by Iprodeco, representatives of the Diputación de Córdoba and the Ayuntamiento highlighted during the opening the economic and social weight of the hunting sector in the province, as well as its role in keeping population in rural areas and in fire prevention.
