The Diputación de Córdoba awards the EmprendeUCO 2026 prizes to five projects
The Palacio de la Merced hosted the awards ceremony, which recognises young entrepreneurs from the province in five different categories.

The Palacio de la Merced, headquarters of the Diputación de Córdoba, has hosted the awards ceremony for the EmprendeUCO prizes, which recognise the best projects submitted by young entrepreneurs from the province.
The winning projects of this edition have been, in the Premio Desarrollo de la Provincia category, VARDA, by Antonio Cepas Torralbo. The Premio Mujer Emprendedora went to SALVIA, by Ángela Revuelto Carrasco, while the Modelo de Negocio award went to INFOMALENA, presented by Raúl García Giménez.
The Premio Compromiso Social went to «Nadar sin barreras», by Raquel Flores Jiménez, and the Premio EmprendeUCO-Diputación de Córdoba went to «Tierras con solera», a project by Fernando Sánchez and Ana Toro.
The event was presided over by the president of the Diputación, Salvador Fuentes, and was attended by the delegate for Desarrollo Económico, Promoción y Empleo, Félix Romero; the rector of the Universidad de Córdoba (UCO), Manuel Torralbo, and the vice-rector for Estudiantes, Acceso y Empleabilidad of the UCO and president of Fundecor, Juan José Giner.
According to Fuentes, of the twenty-two projects that have completed the programme in this edition, seventeen are already established as companies and generating revenue. The president of the Diputación pointed out that, counting the projects added this year, there are now 129 companies created through EmprendeUCO that remain active, and that more than 350 entrepreneurs have taken part in the programme throughout its editions.
Fuentes also explained that this edition has introduced as a novelty the initiative «Emprende Rumbo con la Diputación de Córdoba», with the aim of allowing those taking part in the programme to get to know other ecosystems outside the province, make contacts and present their projects in other settings.
