González has pointed out that almost ten months have passed since the last contract related to these charging points was formalized without the service being available to residents. The councillor has described the situation as a new delay in the municipal management of mayor José María Bellido.

According to the councillor, the network was intended to provide coverage to various neighborhoods and outlying districts, with the aim of facilitating the use of electric vehicles in those areas. González has argued that this is necessary infrastructure for families who have opted for cleaner mobility.

The socialist councillor has linked this delay to other decisions made by the PP governing team on mobility matters, without the statement specifying which ones she is referring to.

Request for explanations in the Plenary

González has asked the mayor to appear before the municipal Plenary to explain how many charging points are currently available, why they are not in operation, and on what date the people of Córdoba will be able to start using them.

The councillor has stated that the municipal Government presents projects as if they were already carried out and that, in her assessment, sustainability requires effective investments and public services, not just announcements.
