The Auditorio Municipal Manuel Lara Cantizani in Lucena will host the premiere of 'Medina Azahara: El Musical' on February 27, 2027, the eve of Andalusia Day. The show thus begins its national tour from Lucena.
The production draws on the songs of the Córdoba Andalusian rock band Medina Azahara to build an original story that combines theatre, music and dance. The plot is set in a future in which music has been banned, with new arrangements and live music.
The production has a team of 44 people and brings together professionals and young Córdoba performers. It incorporates a charitable dimension through collaboration with Infancia Solidaria.
