The workshop is held on Thursday, October 22, from 17:00 to 19:00, at the Casa de la Cultura de Torrecampo. The activity is titled "Sustainable Fashion: Repair, Recycle and Reuse" and is open to intergenerational participation.
It is based on the three Rs model: reduce, repair and reuse. According to the Ayuntamiento, the goal is to increase public awareness and information among citizens about the causes, effects and urgency of climate change, and to promote sustainable lifestyles and responsible consumption.
The proposal highlights the economic and social contribution of women in the field of sewing and seeks to raise awareness about precariousness and labor exploitation in the textile sector. It is taught by the Fondo Andaluz de Municipios para la Solidaridad Internacional (FAMSI) and is funded by the Diputación de Córdoba.
