All of this used to be a neighborhood

The expansion of tourist rentals in the historic centers of Andalusian cities has driven out a significant portion of the residents of these spaces over the last decade. Combined with a deep current housing crisis, with exorbitant prices and the real difficulty of access for part of the population, this session aims to provide keys to understanding how we have reached this situation and will invite a rethinking of the city model based on reflections on demographic change, urban economy, and local governance.

Information of interest

This activity consists of holding a meeting lasting an hour and a half that will bring together research staff with citizens around a Cordoban patio to talk about this specific topic. The meeting is limited to approximately 15 people and will be held on (to be confirmed)

Each person may only attend one micro-meeting; in the event that the same person books at two meetings, the organization will assign them only one of them. Once the booking has been formalized, in the following days, registered persons will receive by email the specific address of the patio where the meeting will be held and must confirm their attendance.

Bookings will open to the public on August 31 at 14.00 hours.
