The exhibition 'Desenmascara Las Raras', driven by the biopharmaceutical company Sobi in collaboration with the Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras (FEDER) and patient associations such as the Síndrome de Quilomicronemia Familiar (SQF) association, is set up in the main lobby of the Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía de Córdoba.

The display presents five masks created by the artist Elsa Suárez, inspired by the stories of people with different rare diseases, and delves into topics such as eating problems in metabolic diseases, the impact of diagnosis, or joint pain in hemophilia. It also includes videos in which well-known faces from culture, sport, and media coexist with patients affected by these conditions.

The initiative seeks to raise awareness of the reality of the more than three million people in Spain living with one of the more than 7,000 existing rare diseases.
