The La Colonia Gastronomic Fair opens with ten companies

The fifth edition of the Gastronomic Fair of the Colonia de Fuente Palmera is held from November 6 to 8 at the Centro Polivalente Francisco Tubío Adame.

Ten companies are taking part from this Friday in the fifth edition of the Gastronomic Fair of La Colonia de Fuente Palmera, which is being held throughout the weekend at the Centro Polivalente Francisco Tubío Adame. The event combines gastronomy, music and leisure, according to the Ayuntamiento de Fuente Palmera. Visitors will be able to walk around the spaces of the participating firms and taste their offerings over the three days, accompanied by a programme of musical performances. The companies present are Asador Joselín, Bodegas Palhens, Cafetería KQN, Cafetería Soler, Catering Bolance García, El Taco, Food Truck Events, La Buganvilla, La Llave and Madison Café-Copas. The organisers, the Asociación Empresarial de la Colonia de Fuente Palmera, aim with this event to attract residents and visitors and to give visibility to the work of local companies. The Ayuntamiento collaborates and funds the event, as it announced on October 28, when the poster was presented together with the tapas of this edition. The official opening was attended by the president of the Asociación Empresarial, Manuel Jesús Adame; the mayor of Fuente Palmera, Francisco Javier Ruiz; the fourth vice-president of the Diputación de Córdoba, Ana Rosa Ruz; the mayor of Palma del Río and president of the Grupo de Desarrollo Rural del Medio Guadalquivir, Matilde Esteo; and the second vice-president of the Asociación Cordobesa de Hostelería y Turismo (Hostecor), Miguel Ángel Morales. After the speeches, the representatives toured the facilities and learned about the companies' offerings. The fair remains open during the weekend at the Centro Polivalente Francisco Tubío Adame de La Colonia.
