Posadas holds its tapas route with 18 venues and prizes of up to 500 euros

From Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8, 18 establishments offer a tapa and a drink for four euros and the public chooses the best popular tapa.

The Tapas Route "Posadas Gourmet" comes to Posadas from Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8 with 18 participating hospitality establishments. Each tapa is served with a drink for four euros, and a tourist train will make it easier to travel between the venues during the three days. Those who do the route can ask for their tapaporte at the establishments and collect at least six stamps from different venues. Afterwards they must fill in their personal details and vote for their favourite tapa, which decides the Best Popular Tapa Award.

Stamps, vote and ballot box at the Policía Local

The completed tapaporte must be deposited before 23:59 on Sunday, November 8 in the ballot box located at the reception desk of the Policía Local, in the Edificio Manuel Siurot, calle Gaitán, 51. The event gives out awards of up to 500 euros for the best professional tapa and 200 euros for the best popular tapa, as detailed by the Ayuntamiento de Posadas. The initiative comes from the municipal Área de Desarrollo, which encourages residents and visitors to discover the proposals of local hospitality and to help boost the municipality's economy. The portal already reported on October 28 that this edition would bring together 18 venues, including Hotel Los Molinillos, Restaurante Rogelio, Alucena Eventos, Cervecería Kin's, Cafetería Jade, Bar Francis Sarava, Asador Juan Luis, Celebraciones Filarmónico and La Belica, with the same price of four euros per tapa and drink. To take part, simply go to the establishments during the three days of the route, ask for the tapaporte, collect the six stamps and hand it in at the ballot box before the close on Sunday, November 8.
