Posadas gives away 700 euros in prizes on its weekend tapas route

From Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8, 18 bars and restaurants in Posadas serve a tapa and a drink for four euros and the public votes for the best one.

The "Posadas Gourmet" Tapas Route starts in Posadas on Friday, November 6 and runs until Sunday, 8. Over the three days, 18 hospitality establishments in the municipality offer a tapa and a drink for four euros, according to the Posadas City Council, which promotes the event through the Development Area. Anyone who wants to take part in the voting must ask for their tapaporte at any of the participating venues and collect at least six stamps from different establishments. Then they must fill in their personal details and vote for their favourite tapa, which decides the Best Popular Tapa Award. The completed tapaporte must be deposited before 23:59 on Sunday, November 8 in the ballot box located at the Policía Local reception desk, in the Edificio Manuel Siurot, calle Gaitán, 51. Voters also enter a prize draw.

The awards

The event gives out awards of up to 500 euros for the best professional tapa and 200 euros for the best popular tapa, as detailed by the City Council. In total, 700 euros in prizes. The Council encourages residents and visitors to tour the participating establishments and discover the municipality's hospitality offering, and thanks the participating venues for their involvement.

A month of routes in the province

The Posadas route is part of a November with several gastronomic events in the province of Córdoba. The portal reported on November 1 that that same weekend, from 6 to 8, Fuente Palmera is holding its V Feria Gastronómica de la Colonia, and that throughout the month the world cheese festival, the Feria del Jamón de Bellota de Villanueva de Córdoba and the fresh oil of Baena are coming to the capital. The route's listing is available in the portal's agenda, with the venue, time and price.
