Ania admitted that, after the last match against CE Sabadell, Córdoba was «far from being ourselves». The coach recalled that, in his four years at the club, there have been starts to the season with few points that later turned into promotion or a comfortable stay in the category, and he argued that ambition and confidence will be key to the team's growth.
Regarding the opponent, Ania noted that UD Almería has one of the strongest squads in the category and arrives at the match strengthened after beating Cádiz.
