Family businesses in Córdoba's agricultural sector have a new training channel to face the future of their holdings. ASAJA Córdoba and the Confederación de Empresarios de Córdoba (CECO) have held the event "The consolidation and growth of family agricultural businesses in Córdoba", aimed at strengthening these businesses and supporting their continuity.

Management and legal structure

The meeting, held in the assembly hall of the agricultural organisation, is part of ASAJA Córdoba's collaboration as a patron of CECO's Chair of Family Business, which promotes training to support family businesses in their development. The event focused on providing family businesses in the agricultural sector with knowledge and resources to face the future of their holdings. The director of the CECO Chair of Family Business and professor of Commercial Law at the Universidad de Córdoba, José Manuel Serrano Cañas, presented the Chair's training programme, aimed at strengthening and supporting the continuity of these businesses. The programme included the lecture "Legal forms in the family agricultural business", given by the lawyer Francisco Gironza del Castillo, which addressed the legal structure of agricultural business projects.

Continuity of Córdoba's countryside

The welcome was given by the president of ASAJA Córdoba, Fernando Adell Martí, and the president of CECO's Family Business Commission, Francisco Torrent Cruz. As Adell stressed, "the continuity of family holdings, the improvement of their management and their capacity for growth are fundamental areas for the future of Córdoba's countryside and for maintaining economic activity in rural areas". With this event, ASAJA Córdoba and CECO strengthen their collaboration to bring specialised training closer to the agricultural sector and to promote the consolidation of its family businesses.
