Córdoba capital will host the Andalucía-Gusto del Sur International Cheese Festival from November 12 to 15, an event that will bring together professionals and cheese enthusiasts and will be held at the Centro de Exposiciones, Ferias y Convenciones (CEFC), according to the statement sent by the Diputación de Córdoba.

The festival includes the World Cheese Awards 2026, an international competition known as the "Cheese Oscars," as explained by Luisa Villegas, director of the Instituto del Queso en España. The event will feature three main spaces. The third space, aimed mainly at the professional sector, consists of the Foros de Innovación Lactoquesera and the Lactópolis. In addition, the gathering will give rise to a manifesto of Córdoba, whose reading is scheduled for Saturday, November 14.

The presentation event was also attended by the Councillor for Culture and Heritage of the Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, Isabel Albás, and the director general of Industria, Innovación y Cadena Agroalimentaria of the Junta de Andalucía, Cristina de Toro.
