According to the note issued by the Chapter, the initial tasks of cleaning, debris removal and structural consolidation of the chapel have already been completed, and now a team of restorers is working on recovering pieces, moldings and other ornamental elements that were part of the ensemble before suffering structural damage.
For this phase, the specialists combine the study of graphic documentation and previous photographs with the design of recreations and digital models. In addition, there is the cataloguing and assembly of the original pieces that could be rescued from the debris, with the aim of recomposing the architectural elements of the chapel with the greatest possible fidelity to the state prior to the damage.
