The Slow Music festival has left more than 10,000 visitors in Pozoblanco over the weekend and an economic impact that the Ayuntamiento estimates at one million euros. Hotel occupancy in the town reached 100% on Friday and remained at 90% on Saturday, according to municipal data.

Siloé opens on Friday

The programme began on Friday with the Siloé concert at the Coso de Los Llanos, which brought together around 4,000 people between the floor and the stands. The Valladolid-based group went through songs such as Terrorismo emocional, Si me necesitas llámame, Las palabras, Amor infinito and Todos los besos.

The storm forces Juan Magán to cancel

The rain and storm that fell on Pozoblanco in the hours before Juan Magán's concert on Saturday forced the performance to be cancelled. As the weather worsened, the security forces preventively evacuated the people who remained sheltered in the interior and covered areas of the plaza. The mayor, Santiago Cabello, has stated that «when we are talking about an event that can bring together thousands of people, safety must always come above any other consideration».

Ticket refunds

Tickets bought online began to be refunded this Monday. Those who bought them at physical points of sale must go to the office of the promoter Espectáculos Doble A in Pozoblanco to recover the amount.

Family closing on Sunday

The festival ended on Sunday with the musical Las Guerreras K-Pop, which filled the venue with families, many dressed as their favourite characters. The rain reappeared during the performance, although the organisation kept the show going and the audience took shelter in the covered areas of the stands until it eased. The councillor for Festejos, Lola García, has highlighted «the work of the Policía Local, Guardia Civil, Protección Civil, health services, private security, workers, technicians and the promoter company».

What to do if a ticket was bought for Juan Magán

Anyone who bought a ticket online for the cancelled concert will receive a refund of the amount through the same purchase channel. Anyone who bought it at a physical point of sale must go to the office of the promoter Espectáculos Doble A in Pozoblanco.
