The University of Córdoba hosts the third edition of the GEOFISIC-ARQ International Congress, dedicated to the application of geophysical prospecting techniques in archaeology. The meeting brings together more than 30 papers by national and international specialists.
After the opening lecture, given by professor emeritus Lawrence B. Conyers, the congress is structured into four thematic paper sessions. The main area of the sites presented is the Iberian Peninsula, with a special prominence of the province of Córdoba.
It is co-organized by the HUM-1150 group "MArCO. Medio Arqueológico Cordobés" and "PATRICIA. Unidad de Investigación y transferencia en ciencias del Patrimonio" of the UCO, together with the CLÍO Research Group and the G3EAE Service of the University of Cantabria.
