Plaza Real in Fuente Palmera hosts a charity day on Saturday, October 17, to mark International Breast Cancer Day, organised by the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer in La Colonia de Fuente Palmera with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento.
From midday there will be a bar service and rice for attendees, benefiting the Hermandad de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno de Fuente Palmera. At 17:00 a charity afternoon snack with sopaipas and chocolate is scheduled, benefiting the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer in Fuente Palmera. At 18:30 the march will set off through the streets of the town, and afterwards there will be music and entertainment with the local DJ DJ OXA.
The event aims to raise visibility for the disease, support those who suffer from it and their families, and recall the importance of prevention, research and collective support.
