Second session of the conference, dedicated to Visigothic goldsmithing, with the analysis of the treasures of Torredonjimeno and Guarrazar and the presentation of results from the Proyecto Au. Representatives from the museums of Sevilla, Cádiz, Huelva, and Jaén present archaeological assemblages such as the Tartessian necropolis of La Joya and the Tesoro de Charilla.
The programme is completed with a session on Andalusi numismatics, in which the Museo Arqueológico y Etnológico de Córdoba presents the Haza del Carmen assemblage, the largest known hoard of caliphal silver coinage, and the dirhams of Cruz Conde.
