Córdoba CF joins the tribute that Spanish football will pay to Jesús de Miguel, CD Tenerife player who passed away, in the match against AD Ceuta at the Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel. The initiative is promoted by LALIGA, the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) and Liga F under the slogan "Siempre en nuestro recuerdo". The most visible change for those attending the stadium affects the players' entrance onto the pitch, which will take place in absolute silence. For this reason, the traditional a cappella anthem by the Córdoba fans will be brought forward to the moments before the players come out, so that this can take place in an atmosphere of maximum respect and solemnity. The club asks fans to follow the instructions that will be announced over the stadium's public address system.

A shirt with the number 9 and a floral tribute

The starting players of both teams will come onto the pitch intermingled, wearing a special shirt with the number 9 and the slogan "Siempre en nuestro recuerdo". Together with the refereeing team they will form a semicircle embracing each other and a floral tribute will be laid in memory of Jesús de Miguel. Afterwards a minute's silence will be observed, during which the video scoreboards will show the player's image, and a bouquet will be laid at the spot on the pitch where the collision occurred. The act will conclude with a joint applause from players and fans.

The match will stop in the 9th minute

The tribute will continue during the match. At the first stoppage of play from the 9th minute, in reference to the number Jesús de Miguel wore, the referee will stop the match and the video scoreboards will show a video in his memory. After applause from the players from their respective positions, play will resume. Córdoba CF thanks in advance the understanding, respect and collaboration of all Córdoba fans, especially during the teams' entrance onto the pitch, and extends its condolences to the family and loved ones of Jesús de Miguel, to his teammates and to the entire CD Tenerife family.
