The new "Guía Turística y Patrimonial de Villa del Río" can now be consulted in digital version. The publication, prepared by Sonia García Lara and Francisco Javier Luna Mantas, chronicler of the town, covers the historical, artistic, cultural and natural heritage of the municipality and was presented on Friday, November 6, 2026 at the Teatro Municipal Olimpia, which registered a full house. The content covers the historical evolution of the municipality, its monuments and singular buildings, the archaeological, religious and industrial heritage, the manor houses, the museums, the artists, the traditions, the popular festivals, the legends and the natural spaces linked to the Guadalquivir river. It also includes urban, natural and mixed tourist itineraries, along with proposals to enjoy the town over several days, with information on gastronomy, hospitality establishments, accommodation and cultural activities. The design and layout are by Antonio Córdoba Cantero. The edition and printing have had the collaboration of the Diputación de Córdoba, as reported by the Ayuntamiento de Villa del Río. At the end of the event, those attending received a copy of the publication. The presentation was given by the mayor, Jesús Morales Molina, also responsible for the Culture area; the councillor for Tourism, Pedro Sánchez Collado; the design manager, Antonio Córdoba Cantero, and the two authors. The mayor noted that knowing and valuing one's own heritage is the first step to showing it to those who visit the municipality.
