The La Colonia Food Fair brings together ten establishments from November 6 to 8
The fifth edition of the La Colonia Food Fair in Fuente Palmera is held from November 6 to 8 at the Centro Polivalente Francisco Tubío Adame.
La Colonia de Fuente Palmera celebrates its fifth Food Fair from Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8 at the Centro Polivalente Francisco Tubío Adame. Ten establishments and companies will take part in this edition, according to the Ayuntamiento de Fuente Palmera.
Ten establishments and their offerings
The participants are Asador Joselín, Bodegas Palhens, Cafetería KQN, Cafetería Soler, Catering Bolance García, El Taco, Food Truck Events, La Buganvilla, La Llave and Madison Café-Copas. Over the three days they will offer creations that combine traditional flavors with more innovative proposals.
Among the options that can be tasted are a volcán ibérico, a gourmet Iberian platter, a crunchy taco, a hamburguesa de guante, a solomillo montadito with goat cheese and caramelized onion or some huevos rotos with potato and chorizo «a mi manera». To these are added chicken curry on potato waffle, the brioche de carrillada ibérica with tomato jam and payoyo cheese, the taco de costilla ibérica with pico de gallo and kimchi mayonnaise, the barbecue pork brioche with truffle mayonnaise or the roast chicken montadito with aioli, as well as seafood options.
Music and shows
The food will be accompanied by a program of musical performances and shows. With this, the organization seeks to offer an experience that goes beyond tasting tapas and to bring the territory's products and culinary culture closer to the public.
The fair is conceived as a meeting point for the hospitality sector, agri-food companies and the public of La Colonia and other municipalities in the region, combining the promotion of the business sector with a leisure proposal for residents and visitors.
Organization and backing
The Asociación Empresarial de La Colonia de Fuente Palmera organizes the event, which has the collaboration and funding of the Ayuntamiento de La Colonia de Fuente Palmera, the Diputación de Córdoba, the Instituto Provincial de Desarrollo Económico (IPRODECO) and the Patronato Provincial de Turismo, as well as the support of Sabor a Córdoba.
The presentation was attended by the president of the Asociación Empresarial, Manuel Jesús Adame, and the mayor of Fuente Palmera, Francisco Javier Ruiz, along with representatives of the Corporación Municipal and of the participating companies. Both agreed in highlighting the evolution of the fair and its leap in quality backed by the public's response.
