Hornachuelos organizes three hiking routes for November 8

The III Encuentro de Senderistas offers 6, 16 and 26 kilometre routes through the Parque Natural Sierra de Hornachuelos for seven euros.

The municipality of Hornachuelos will hold the III Encuentro de Senderistas on Sunday, November 8, a day with three routes of different difficulty through the Parque Natural Sierra de Hornachuelos. The event is organized by the Ayuntamiento de Hornachuelos and Hornitural.

Three routes for all levels

The programme includes a six-kilometre route, of low difficulty; another of 16 kilometres, of medium level; and a third of 26 kilometres, designed for those accustomed to more demanding routes. The event thus seeks to bring together both people new to hiking and experienced enthusiasts.

What the registration includes

Registration costs seven euros and includes refreshments during the activity, a potaje de sierra, a drink and a commemorative bracelet of the event. The proposal combines outdoor sport with socializing among participants and the promotion of the area's traditional gastronomy.

The event has the collaboration of the Oficina de Turismo de Hornachuelos, Jeca Turismo Activo, the Junta de Andalucía, the Parque Natural Sierra de Hornachuelos and the Red Española de Reservas de la Biosfera. According to the Ayuntamiento, with this third edition the municipality once again bets on hiking as a way of bringing residents and visitors closer to its natural heritage and promoting healthy lifestyle habits.
