Posadas fills the weekend with tapas, cinema and sport

Eighteen establishments serve a tapa and a drink for four euros from Friday the 6th to Sunday the 8th, alongside cinema, musical theatre and sports competitions.

The «Posadas Gourmet 2026» Tapas Route opens the weekend in Posadas. From Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8, 18 hospitality establishments offer a tapa and a drink for four euros. Anyone who wants to vote for the best popular tapa must ask for their tapaporte at any of the participating venues, collect at least six stamps from different establishments, fill in their details and vote.

Cinema, chestnuts and musical theatre

On Saturday, November 7, at 17:00, the Paseo Pedro Vargas hosts the Children's Chestnut Festival, with music, games, workshops, bouncy castles and a tasting of roast chestnuts. That same day there are two cinema screenings of «Ruega por nosotras» at the Cine Teatro Liceo Manuel Rumí Cortés, at 17:00 and at 20:30. On Sunday 8, at 18:30, the Auditorio Municipal Alcalde Felipe Pérez Fernández hosts «Superstar», by the company Palma Superstar, which opens the VII Bienal de Teatro Musical de Posadas. The cinema repeats at 20:30, and on Monday 9 there is another screening at the same time.

Competitions and routes

Sport also features in the programme. On Friday 6 two matches are played at the Estadio Municipal Víctor Méndez: at 17:30, Posadas C.F. – C.D. Granadal «A» (prebenjamín), and at 18:30, Posadas C.F. – C.D. SP. La Carlota (infantil B). On Saturday 7, from 9:00, the XI Concurso de Pesca is held at the José Torán reservoir, organised by the Club de Pesca La Mangua. That day there are also two matches at the Víctor Méndez: at 17:30, Posadas C.F. – Figueroa A.D. (juvenil), and at 19:20, Posadas C.F. – R.U.D. La Carlota «B» (cadete). On Sunday 8, at 8:30, an MTB route organised by Malendros MTB sets off from the Paseo Pedro Vargas, with a 60-kilometre course. At 9:00 the hiking route through the Sierrezuela starts, by the Club Senderismo Posadas, of 10 kilometres, with a meeting afterwards at 12:30. In football, the Víctor Méndez hosts at 17:00 the Posadas C.F. – U.D. Sur «A» (benjamín) and at 18:30 the Posadas C.F. – C.D. Sporting La Carlota (sénior). On Tuesday 10, at 8:30, the Club Senderismo Posadas organises a health route to the Pilar de Paterna, setting off from the Plaza de los Lavaderos. The Ayuntamiento de Posadas encourages citizens to take part in the activities and to support local clubs, associations and athletes, as indicated by the Consistorio.
