Around 80 works by Blas Moyano Rosauro can be seen from this Sunday, November 1, at the Museo Histórico Municipal «Casa de las Cadenas» in Villa del Río. The exhibition, titled «Villa del Río recuerda a Blas Moyano. 25 años de legado y memoria», will remain open until November 29 and brings together pieces loaned by residents and private collections, according to the Culture department of the Ayuntamiento. The exhibition is organized in three rooms that trace the painter's evolution. The first looks at his beginnings and the origins of his pictorial language; the second addresses his mature period, with the consolidation of his style and his mastery of technique; and the third focuses on his latest creations. The tour reveals the diversity of techniques, themes and compositions in his output. The exhibition is part of the program for the 25th anniversary of the artist's death, which falls on this November 1. That same day, the Medalla de Oro de la Villa was awarded posthumously to the painter, in a ceremony held at his resting place in the Cementerio Municipal.
