EMACSA opens registration for the III Water Efficiency Awards until November 15

Companies, social entities, schools and institutions in Córdoba can submit their candidacies for the III EMACSA Chair Water Efficiency and Sanitation Awards until 23:59 on November 15. The winners will be announced on November 19.

The EMACSA Chair has announced the third edition of the Water Efficiency and Sanitation Awards, distinctions with which the municipal water company recognises actions by Córdoba organisations aimed at the efficient use of water and at improving sanitation management.

Four categories

The awards are divided into four categories:

Business Initiative, for good practices in the efficient use of water within Córdoba's business fabric.
Social Initiative, aimed at associations, foundations and other non-profit organisations.
Educational Initiative, which recognises the work of teaching centres.
Institutional or Private Initiative for Innovation and Research, for research and innovation projects on the integral water cycle.

The Organising Committee will select a maximum of three finalist candidacies per category, which the jury will then evaluate. The awards consist of a trophy and a certificate.

How to participate

The deadline for submitting candidacies has been open since October 15 and closes at 23:59 on November 15. Interested entities can formalise their participation through the awards website or by email, in accordance with the requirements and documentation set out in the call's rules. Information on the categories, participation requirements and the necessary documentation is available on the official EMACSA Awards website.

Decision on November 19

The jury will announce the winners on November 19, coinciding with World Sanitation Day. According to EMACSA, these recognitions seek to give visibility to initiatives that contribute to water saving and to improving sanitation, and to encourage the involvement of the different sectors of Córdoba society in the responsible management of water resources.
