The Hornachuelos Town Council has approved the rules for an employment pool of architects with which it aims to strengthen the Urbanism Department and meet temporary staffing needs, such as sick leave, holidays, paternity leave or other extraordinary circumstances. The rules were approved by Mayoral resolution on October 2 and have been published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
What the exam is like
The selection process is resolved through competitive examination. The examination phase consists of a multiple-choice theoretical-practical test of 60 questions, with a maximum score of 60 points and a duration of 90 minutes. To pass it, at least 30 points must be obtained. Afterwards, the merits of the candidates are assessed, including qualifications, training and professional experience.
Who it affects and what is required
Anyone holding a degree in Architecture or the qualification enabling them to practise this profession may take part, in addition to meeting the general conditions of the rules. The pool is rotating and remains in force until a new selection process replaces, updates or modifies it. When a hiring need arises, the Town Council calls candidates in order of score.
How to register
Applications are submitted through the electronic headquarters of the Hornachuelos Town Council, using the official form and the accepted electronic identification systems. The deadline is twenty working days counted from the day after publication in the Official Gazette of the Province. Registration generally requires payment of the corresponding fee and submission of proof of payment, except in the cases of exemption provided for. The full rules and information on the process can be consulted in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba and on the municipal electronic headquarters.
According to the Council, the call seeks to have a procedure that facilitates the temporary coverage of the technical needs of the Urbanism area and guarantees the continuity of municipal services.
