Hornachuelos attends the III Sabor a Córdoba Food Fair with a proposal focused on its tourism and natural resources. The municipality will be at the stand of the Mancomunidad de Municipios Vega del Guadalquivir, where information will be offered about its main attractions and about the tourism campaign «Hornachuelos, la llamada de la naturaleza», according to the Ayuntamiento.

A showcase for local tourism

The head of the Delegación Municipal de Turismo, María Rosa Fernández, says that the campaign serves to convey «la esencia de nuestro municipio» and to show its possibilities to those seeking experiences linked to the natural environment and local tourism. Fernández adds that the initiative places special emphasis on gastronomy and on the food products in which the town makes a difference. The mayor, Julián López, says that being present at a provincial show makes the municipality visible and shares its attractions with the rest of the province, and points to tourism as an opportunity for development by making the most of the value of gastronomy and local products.

More exhibitors and activities

The fair brings together 63 agri-food companies from the province this year, compared with 52 last year and 40 at its first edition, held in 2024. The programme includes 48 activities: 28 devoted to gastronomy and 20 to the culture, traditions and crafts of the Córdoba municipalities. Among the proposals, the extra virgin olive oil tunnel stands out, with oils from the Córdoba designations of origin and 21 exhibiting companies, and the wine tunnel, with more than 180 samples from more than 60 wineries in the province. As a novelty, an Eco Route is added to give visibility to 19 companies with organic products.

Opening hours, entry and bus

The venue opens from 10:00 to 20:00 on Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 to 17:00 on Sunday. Entry is free and there will be a free shuttle bus service between the Diputación de Córdoba and the fairground. The fair is held at the Centro de Exposiciones, Ferias y Convenciones de Córdoba (CEFC) from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25.
