The Priego Traders Association wins an Andalusian Domestic Trade Award

The Consejería de Empleo, Empresa y Trabajo Autónomo has decided the tenth edition of these awards, among whose winners is the Asociación Centro Comercial Abierto de Priego de Córdoba (ACCA).

The Asociación Centro Comercial Abierto de Priego de Córdoba (ACCA) has received one of the Premios del Comercio Interior de Andalucía, in its tenth edition, in the category of business cooperation in Andalusian commerce. According to the note issued by the Consejería de Empleo, Empresa y Trabajo Autónomo, the resolution of these awards has been published in the Boletín Oficial de la Junta de Andalucía (BOJA).

ACCA, established in 2015, currently brings together 211 businesses in Priego de Córdoba: 128 shops, 35 hospitality establishments, and 48 service companies. The award, as explained by the Consejería, recognizes this cross-cutting representativeness of the municipality's commercial, hospitality, and service sectors.

The Premios del Comercio Interior de Andalucía have six categories and aim to recognize efforts in support of commerce in the autonomous community. Each award includes a monetary endowment of 4,800 euros, a trophy, and a certificate of accreditation.

Other winners in this edition

The rest of the awards in this edition went to the Sevillian company Neman Europe, which operates under the brand Masaltos.com, specializing in elevator footwear; the Cooperativa Provincial Agraria y Ganadera San Isidro (CASI), from Almería; Productos de Almadraba, based in Barbate (Cádiz) with the brands Gadira and El Rey de Oros; the Asociación de Comerciantes del Centro de Jerez, responsible for the Centro Comercial Abierto de Jerez-ACOGE; and the Ayuntamiento de Benalmádena, for its policies promoting local commerce through a strategic plan for commerce and craftsmanship currently underway.

The jury has also awarded a special mention to Pepe Pinreles, an Andalusian company dedicated to the design and sale of themed socks and other textile products inspired by Spanish culture and traditions, which has eight points of sale across several Andalusian provinces.
