The UCO welcomes new students of the Rabanales Campus with a welcome fair
The four centres of the campus organised a fair to present new students with the university's free services, beyond teaching.

The four centers that provide teaching at the Rabanales Campus —the Facultad de Veterinaria, the Facultad de Ciencias, the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica y de Montes, and the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Córdoba— welcomed new incoming students with a welcome fair. The goal, according to the note sent by the Universidad de Córdoba (UCO), was to make known the services offered by the institution beyond academic studies.
At the information stands, students were able to learn firsthand about services such as Culture, Environmental Protection, Inclusion, Occupational Risk Prevention, Cooperation and Solidarity, Equality, student representation, or Sports, among others.
The rector of the UCO, Manuel Torralbo Rodríguez, accompanied by the vice-rector for Students, Access and Employability, Juan José Giner Casares, and by representatives of the centers' management teams, came by to greet the students and the staff at the stands.
The rector noted that the fair is an act of togetherness for those arriving, «so that they can start meeting the classmates who will accompany them throughout the year in a stage that I always say is, surely, the most wonderful stage for anyone».
Torralbo also emphasized that these services are free of charge, available to the more than two thousand new Bachelor's degree students who have joined the Universidad de Córdoba this academic year.
