Reinforcement of the Local Police

The mayor has stressed that public security is the responsibility of the State Security Forces and Bodies, under the coordination of the Government Subdelegation in Córdoba, and that the City Council will continue to collaborate within its municipal powers. In that framework, he has stated that the Local Police will be reinforced with new resources, including the security camera system, whose installation has already been awarded. Fernández has also reiterated the request to increase the resources and officers of the Lucena-Cabra National Police Station, a demand that, he recalled, the police unions have also raised. The mayor has stated that the local government will continue working so that the safety of residents is as great as possible.
