San Sebastián de los Ballesteros teaches how to cook turkey with noodles in Glücksland
The municipality celebrates the second edition of Glücksland from October 23 to 25, which includes a turkey with noodles showcooking on Saturday the 24th, within an event dedicated to the legacy of the Nuevas Poblaciones.

Turkey with noodles, one of the most representative dishes of San Sebastián de los Ballesteros, will be cooked live at the second edition of «Glücksland: sabor y herencia colona». The demonstration is part of the programme for Saturday, October 24, according to the town council of the locality.
The recipe is presented as part of the municipality's culinary identity and of the traditions passed down from generation to generation since the arrival of the first settlers.
A three-day programme
Glücksland is held from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25, as this portal reported on October 17. The organisation is by the town council, with the support of the Instituto Provincial de Desarrollo Económico (Iprodeco) of the Diputación de Córdoba.
Saturday the 24th's day includes, in addition to the turkey with noodles showcooking, a miller's breakfast, a German masterclass, craft workshops, demonstrations of artisan noodle making, tastings and samples of German bakery products, along with children's activities, competitions and musical performances.
On Friday the 23rd, a theatrical performance by residents of the municipality is scheduled, along with children's activities, the official presentation and reception of La Carolina as guest municipality, an exhibition of typical German dances and Oktoberfest-inspired music.
Artisan noodle making
The event also includes a demonstration of artisan noodle making by the local baker Gonzalo Ansio, according to an earlier town council note of October 20. The activity aims to show live the process of a product linked to the locality's culinary history.
The legacy of the Nuevas Poblaciones
Glücksland revolves around the legacy of the Nuevas Poblaciones, the historical framework in which the arrival of the first settlers to the municipality is set. The second edition repeats the three-day format with workshops, tastings and neighbourhood activities.
