The dance show «Un dúo», by Laura Morales, is performed on Thursday, November 12 at 11:00 at IES La Jara in Villanueva de Córdoba. The performance comes through the Andalusian Network of Public Theatres (RAT), according to the Villanueva de Córdoba City Council.

A piece about the encounter of two bodies

The work starts from the idea of the duo as a basic form of dance: two bodies that meet, hold each other, push each other and rest. As described by the City Council, the piece goes through the duos that have marked its performers and celebrates the communion of two dancers on stage. The production is presented as a pause to remember why we dance and what drives us to keep doing it. The proposal refers to the classical pas de deux and to the figure of the soloist who gives way to the duo.

First prize at the Mudanzas Festival

«Un dúo» won the First Prize of the CREA National Choreographic Competition, within the framework of the 2024 Mudanzas Festival, as noted by the City Council.
