Update of October 23, 17:02

The fair has been inaugurated this Friday, October 23, with the participation of the president of the Diputación de Córdoba, Salvador Fuentes, accompanied by the delegate of Economic Development, Promotion and Employment, Félix Romero. In his speech, Fuentes highlighted the growth of agri-food exports: from 1.2 to 1.4 million euros between 2023 and 2024, and 3.45 million in 2025. He also noted that gastronomy has consolidated as the third reason for visiting the province, alongside historical, cultural and artistic heritage, and mentioned challenges facing the sector such as generational renewal, technification, international competition, added value and sustainability. Romero, for his part, defined the fair as "the fair of the villages" and a public model for buying directly from producers, farmers, livestock breeders and the food industry.

As a novelty, the Ruta Eco is added, giving visibility to 19 exhibitor companies with organic products, identified with their own stand. The space is distributed into an exhibition area, an activities area with a stage for folklore, music and presentations, a showcooking area for tastings, pairings and sampling, and a space for workshops and craft exhibitions.
