The Junta de Andalucía has opened the tender for the works that will provide Posadas with a wastewater treatment plant and the network of pipes that will carry the town's wastewater to it. The combined budget of the contracts amounts to 18.57 million euros, according to the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development.

Two contracts and almost 30 months of works

The tender is divided into two contracts. The works contract has a base budget of 18.19 million euros and an execution period of 27 months. The second, for works management and health and safety coordination, comes to 380,582.16 euros and runs for 30 months. The project includes the pipes to transport urban wastewater to the treatment facilities and the construction of the elements of the treatment system. All of it will be carried out within the municipal boundaries of Posadas.

How to submit a bid

Both procedures are processed by open procedure and bids are submitted electronically through the Junta de Andalucía's Electronic Tendering Portal. The deadline will remain open until 14:00 on December 9, 2026. The administrative specifications, technical requirements and the rest of the documentation needed to take part can be consulted in the Junta de Andalucía's Contractor Profile and on the Regional Government's Electronic Tendering Platform. The Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development is promoting the project through the Directorate-General for Water Infrastructures.
