The Teatro Benavente company stages "Vis a Vis en Hawai" on Friday, November 13 at the Teatro Municipal de Villanueva de Córdoba. The performance will begin at 21:00 and tickets cost 8 euros, according to the Ayuntamiento de Villanueva de Córdoba.

A comedy about an unexpected encounter

The play is presented as a comedy of humor and love. Its development starts with the irruption of another person into the protagonist's life, with sex as a pretext, and moves forward through absurd and amusing situations. The text combines black humor, the absurd and costumbrista humor, and draws on colloquial speech to compose a mosaic of today's society. The plot is set in a vis a vis, the meeting space in prison, where nothing is what it seems. Throughout the performance, the prison officer in charge of watching the rooms appears, a character the company describes as unrepeatable and who is interwoven into the personal and emotional tug-of-war of the leading couple.

Tickets and date

Those who wish to attend can go to the performance on Friday, November 13 at the Teatro Municipal de Villanueva de Córdoba. The session begins at 21:00 and the ticket price is 8 euros. The event joins the region's theater program during the month of November. The portal reported on October 19 that the Auditorio Municipal «Alcalde Felipe Pérez Fernández» in Posadas hosts six musical theater performances that same month, from Sunday, November 8 to Saturday, November 28, with the Gran Gala as the closing event of the competition.
