The Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba hosts the exhibition "The Lord gave me... The legacy of Saint Francis in the Diocese of Córdoba" in the Almanzor extension. The show is part of the events for the VIII Centenary of the Passing of Saint Francis of Assisi and has been promoted by the Cathedral Chapter of Córdoba together with the Franciscan Family of the Diocese. The tour takes the saint's testament as its guiding thread and brings together paintings, sculptures, pieces of silverwork and devotional objects that show the influence of the Franciscan order on the local Church. It has been curated by Alfonso M. Muñoz Rodríguez. The pieces come from loans from the Cathedral Chapter, the Parish of San Francisco and San Eulogio of Córdoba, and from several convents of the Clarisas, Capuchinas, Concepcionistas and Hermanos Menores orders, as well as brotherhoods from Córdoba capital, Belalcázar, Montilla, Lucena, Bujalance and Seville. The Provincial Council of Córdoba is the main sponsor and covers the costs of insurance, transport, printing and installation, and will publish a commemorative catalogue.
