FEPAMIC took part this Friday, October 16, in the II Distrito Sur Employment Fair, held in plaza de la Unidad, where it assisted people interested in its offers and explained how to sign up for its job bank.
The II Employment Fair of the Southern District of Córdoba brought together companies, social organizations, public administrations and job seekers this Friday, October 16, at plaza de la Unidad, from 9:30 to 13:30. Among the participating organizations was FEPAMIC, which presented its employment inclusion services for people with disabilities to those who visited its space.
What could be done at the fair
Those who attended were able to submit their résumés directly to companies, learn about job offers and receive information on guidance and training resources. The fair also had a space set up for job interviews with some of the participating companies.
At the FEPAMIC space, the team attended to people interested in learning about its services and explained how to register and send a résumé to its job bank, with information on the different ways to access its offers. The organization also conducted live job interviews during the day.
Employment inclusion beyond the contract
According to FEPAMIC, entering the labor market remains a challenge for many people with disabilities due to the barriers and inequalities that persist. The organization notes that inclusion does not end with the signing of a contract: it considers it equally important to keep the job, have decent working conditions and have the necessary support for a stable career.
The fair is organized by the Ayuntamiento de Córdoba within the framework of the ERACIS+ strategy and has had the participation of more than 60 companies and organizations. The day included institutional representation from the Ayuntamiento and the Junta de Andalucía, with the presence of Eva Contador, teniente de alcalde delegada de Servicios Sociales, Participación Ciudadana y Mayores; Florentino Santos, representative of the Junta on Vocational Training; Marina Montes, delegada territorial de Empleo, Empresa y Trabajo Autónomo y de Inteligencia Artificial, Desarrollo Digital y Administración Pública; and Carlos Moreno, delegado territorial de Servicios Sociales, Familias e Igualdad.
How to access FEPAMIC's offers
Anyone interested in the organization's offers can register and send their résumé to the FEPAMIC job bank, according to the information provided during the fair. The organization has not specified in its communication a deadline or a link to do so.
