Andrés Lorite, vice-president of the Diputación de Córdoba, will be the crier of the Semana Santa of Córdoba of 2027. This is how the Agrupación de Hermandades y Cofradías de Córdoba has designated him, according to the Diócesis de Córdoba.

The poster and the Glorias

Along with the pregón, the Agrupación has closed the names for the main commissions of the cofrade year. Pablo Cortés del Pueblo will make the official poster of the Semana Santa, while José María Ledo will proclaim the Glorias.

Who is the crier

Lorite combines his responsibility in the Diputación with his link to the Córdoba cofrade world. In the provincial institution he is first vice-president and deputy delegate of Infraestructuras, Sostenibilidad y Agricultura, an area from which he has supervised actions in the provincial road network. The portal reported on October 3, 2026 his visit to Villa del Río to learn about the improvement works on the CP-180 «De la Vega» road, with a budget of 100.000 euros.

An already known announcement

The portal reported on October 20, 2026 that the Agrupación de Hermandades y Cofradías had announced the names of those who will take on the main commissions of the cofrade year 2027, at an event held at the EMACSA headquarters in which the career of each designee was presented. It was then reported that Pablo Cortés del Pueblo would sign the poster of the Semana Santa and that Rafael Castejón would be the poster artist of the Glorias.

The pregón, in 2027

The pregón of the Semana Santa of Córdoba is held every year as the gateway to the celebration, with the participation of hermandades and cofradías of the city. The designation of Lorite corresponds to the cofrade year 2027.
