The course is aimed at professionals in the agricultural sector, owners and workers of agricultural holdings, drone pilots who want to specialise in precision agriculture and unemployed people interested in training in this field. It will be taught in Cañete de las Torres, in the afternoon, during November and December, and combines theoretical content with practical exercises.

What is learned

The programme covers the handling of drones (UAS), with their technical characteristics, the applicable regulations and risk prevention; flight planning and identifying crop needs; capturing and interpreting data from images for agricultural monitoring; and practical exercises and simulations of planning technical work and inspecting crop areas. According to IPRODECO, the aim is for participants to learn about the possibilities of this technology and acquire knowledge applicable to their professional activity, as well as improving their qualifications and facilitating access to job opportunities linked to the digitalisation of agriculture.

Places, price and scholarships

The training has 10 places and a registration fee of 200 euros per participant. Up to a maximum of six scholarships may be granted covering 100 % of the registration fee, fully assumed by the teaching entity, Infinito Instituto de Formación, S.L. The granting will be subject to the selection and assessment criteria of said entity; those who are not beneficiaries may take the training by paying the 200 euros. IPRODECO finances 83 % of the total cost of the training. Preference will be given to those who hold a valid official drone piloting certification. Those who do not have this qualification may also register and attend the theoretical sessions, as well as participate as observers in those flight practices in which their attendance is compatible.

How to register

Interested persons can consult the course information and submit their application through the IPRODECO website and the registration platform of Infinito Instituto de Formación. The application period is open. The training initiative is part of the IPRODECOforma 2026 programme, with which the Diputación de Córdoba, through IPRODECO, brings new technologies applied to crop monitoring and holding management closer to the Córdoba agricultural sector.
