La Tesela, at Calle Veracruz number 17 in Lucena, operates as a shared workspace for professionals and companies and still has some places free among its twelve desks. This was announced by the Lucena City Council after the mayor, Aurelio Fernández, visited these facilities on Wednesday, October 21.

Shared work and cultural activity

The space hosts people who work for companies outside Lucena and local businesses that carry out their activity here. Among the projects currently present at La Tesela are Palike Comunicación, AOV Ingeniería and Tarara Films. Alongside its professional side, the venue has a cultural dimension: at weekends and at certain times of the year the work area is adapted to host cultural activities and workshops, so that a single space serves different uses and encourages encounters between professionals and people interested in this field.

How to access

Anyone interested in using the space can check the conditions on the website latesela.org or go directly to the facilities, at Calle Veracruz number 17. During the visit, Fernández highlighted "the entrepreneurial capacity of its members and the possibility of working from Lucena for companies and clients anywhere in the world", and noted that initiatives like this help the city remain a place where one can build a life project and help retain talent.
