The Lucena City Council is taking part in the III Sabor a Córdoba Food Fair with three activities on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24: an olive oil tasting from the DOP Aceite de Lucena, a ceramics workshop and an Aras Musical concert. The fair runs from October 23 to 25 with free entry.

Lucena will showcase three of its own activities at the III Sabor a Córdoba Food Fair: an extra virgin olive oil tasting from the DOP Aceite de Lucena, a Lucena ceramics workshop and an Aras Musical concert. All three are spread across the afternoon of Friday, October 23 and the day of Saturday, October 24, at the Centro de Exposiciones, Ferias y Convenciones de Córdoba, next to the Parque Joyero.

Olive oil tasting, workshop and concert

The local programme starts on Friday, October 23 at 17:00 with an extra virgin olive oil tasting from the DOP Aceite de Lucena on the Showcooking stage. The activity has a capacity of 50 people. The Taller de Cerámica Lucentina takes place on Saturday, October 24 at 13:30 on the Talleres Artesanales stage, bringing one of the city's traditional crafts closer to the public. That same Saturday, at 19:15, Aras Musical offers the concert «Lucena en Cuerda y Alma» on the Actividades Folclóricas stage. The ensemble will perform in Córdoba the repertoire it develops in monumental spaces in the town, with compositions by local authors and pieces related to popular celebrations, according to the Lucena City Council.

Free entry and how to get there

The fair is held from October 23 to 25 with free entry. The venue opens from 10:00 to 20:00 on Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 to 17:00 on Sunday. The organisation provides access with a free shuttle bus from the Diputación car park and free underground parking at the fairground.

63 companies and 48 activities

Promoted by the Diputación de Córdoba through the Instituto Provincial de Desarrollo Económico (Iprodeco), this third edition of Sabor a Córdoba brings together 63 agri-food companies and offers 48 gastronomic and cultural activities.

To attend

No ticket is needed: access to the fair is free. The Lucena activities are held on Friday, October 23 at 17:00, Saturday, October 24 at 13:30 and Saturday, October 24 at 19:15. The olive oil tasting has a capacity of 50 people.
